AlJabr cooperates in providing 14 “Kia” cars at reduced prices, as a contribution to the "Taxi" Project Initiative launched by the Charity Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province (Benaa)
Within the framework of corporate social responsibility to achieve sustainable development goals and in support of the efforts of the Charity Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province (Benaa), AlJabr Trading Company provided 14 Kia cars at reduced prices and affordable installments as a contribution to the Charity Society’s Taxi Project Initiative that benefits orphans and their mothers, while Al Jabr Finance Company provided financing options with low financing charges.
Abdulsalam AlJabr, Managing Director of AlJabr Holding Company, stressed the pride of all the company’s employees in contributing to the support of the Taxi Project Initiative launched by Benaa Charity Society, which reflects the company’s keenness to make such blessed initiatives aimed at serving the groups that need us to extend a helping hand and assistance in our country, in a way that enhances the state’s efforts in this field .
AlJabr pointed out the company’s keenness to direct its role and social responsibility message in the correct manner to serve the community and have a sustainable impact, as the contribution to the Taxi Project Initiative, which serves a precious group of orphans and widows, provide them with a good source of income through work in transport services and vehicle routing, which have evolved nowadays after adding order transportation services using smart phone applications.
The Director General of Benaa, Abdullah Al-Khalidi, explained that the contribution comes from AlJabr Company, as it is one of the partners of the Taxi Project, pointing out that the continuation of the project will provide the beneficiaries with various sources of income as well as good job opportunities, a decent life and a safe means of transportation, and will have a positive impact on the orphan and his family.
Al-Khalidi added that the Taxi initiative is in line with Vision 2030, whereas Benaa Society works effectively within the non-profit sector system in order to contribute to achieving the goals and programs of the vision by empowering the category of orphans and mothers in the social services system, increasing women’s participation in the labor market and empowering the social contribution of the corporate social responsibility to achieve the sustainable development goals besides increasing the social participation of young people in the labor market and contributing to reducing unemployment.
However, Al-Khalidi thanked Al-Jabr Trading Company for its response and participation in supporting the Taxi Project initiative, which reflects the company’s keenness to make such blessed initiatives aimed at serving the groups that need us to extend a helping hand and assistance in our country, in a way that enhances the state’s efforts in this field.
